A true ‘ski in/out’ destination, the Ridge at Silver Star can be accessed by three chairlifts: the Comet Six Pack, the Summit Chair, and the Alpine Meadows Chair.  The Alpine Meadows Chair goes to the top of the Attridge runs above the Ridge subdivision. The new Silver Queen Chairlift has the top terminal in the same general location, and has the base moved substantially closer to the new parking lot E and the second skier bridge over Silver Star Road.

 

The Ridge has lighted the existing collector run that directs skiers back to the base of the new Alpine Meadows Chair and the existing bridge over Silver Star Road that services the new Silver Queen Chair. The second skier overpass connects to the Silver Queen lift. The Ridge has built a skier underpass on the Lonestar run, and has completed construction of a two-section skier overpass to service the Split Decision and Solitude ski runs.

 

Most other bus runs will have collector runs to get skiers to the existing Silver Star Road skier overpass. The second skier overpass is nearing completion and will be ready for the ski season over Silver Star Road, connecting to the new Silver Queen lift.

 

THE LOTS
 

Starting from the mid $100k's, The Ridge at Silver Star has the right lot for every buyer. The Ridge is a fee simple subdivision. This means the lot owner is entitled to the entire property with unconditional power of disposition except as limited by the original grant or contained in any other grant or disposition from the Crown. There are no rental restrictions at The Ridge.  All services are underground and include water, sewer, natural gas, telephone, street lighting, some ski trail lighting and cable service.  There is ample storage set aside for snow removal as well. Generally south facing, this development offers opportunity for passive solar heating.

 

Lot views extend from the Monashee Mountains on the east to the lights of Vernon, to Kalamalka and Okanagan Lakes, and up to Predator Ridge Golf Course.
